Books on the Lord of Captives

During the years since the liberated captives ( LCs) have returned to the country, many books have been written dealing with the memories and behavior of Haj  Abu Torabi Fard, and the narratives of his inmates in the Iraqi camps, and another part is about his life before captivity. Also, in the diaries   of many LCs based on their captivity memories, one can immediately trace , the footprints of Haj Abu Torabi Fard everywhere.

Below, we introduce some books published on Haj  Ali Akbar Abu Torabi Fard.

From Karbala`s soil

The first published book by Haj  Abu Torabi Fard dates back to 1996. It is  entitled "From Karbala`s Soil", and includes a collection of speeches delivered by Haj  Abu Torabi Fard addressing the LCs. Naturally the sessions in question were held secretly in the camps. This book was published by the Department of Literature and  the Art of Resistance.

The Deranged Mystic

The Deranged Mystic is the title of another book  written by the departed Hojjat –ol-Eslam  Abu Torabi Fard containing 28 brief memories.  These memories involve some figures such as Imam Khomeini and some members of Fadayeeyan-e-Eslam in different positions ;people whose intellectual developments resulted from their extreme faith had been witnessed by the narrator himself.

Breeze from Paradise

Another book published concerning Haj  Abu Torabi is entitled "Breeze from Paradise" bearing the form of a travelogue, which narrates Haj  Abu Torabi`s journey from the shrine of Imam Khomeini to the shrine of Imam Reza (RIP). The collection in question comprises the pleasant and intriguing memories of those LCs who accompanied the Late Abu Torabi Fard who proposed some of the captivity issues while recollecting its memories along the above-mentioned route. The book is the outcome of efforts spent by Safar Abdolmaleky and published by Omid-e- Azadegan Publishing House.

Earthly Angels

"Heavenly Guest" and "Earthly Angels" are the titles of 2 books for children containing the memories of Haj   Abu Tarabi. These 2 books have been published by Payam Azadegan cultural and artistic institute.

The Star in the Firmament of Infatuation

It is the title of a book containing Ghasem Jafary`s articles and writings on the character of Haj  Abu Tarabi. It also includes essays written by Abu Toprabi`s friends and inmates regarding that highly distinguished figure. This book was written based on researches carried out  by Ghasem Jafary and published by Payam Azadegan cultural and artistic institute.

That Heavenly Chap

Hojjat-ol-Eslam Ali Akbar Abu Torabi and Ali Andarzgu were two tireless fighters in the Pahlavi period who, in the most difficult conditions, stood up for jihad for God`s sake with a profound thought and wholeheartedly, and  dedicated their entire lives to serving Islam and the people and promoting spirituality and fighting against the Pahlavi regime. Financial support, logistics and armaments and establishing communication and liaison between the secret revolutionary  forces and Seyyed Ali Andarzgu was a difficult and tough task that Ali Akbar Abu Torabi managed well and continued to fight alongside his close friend. A part of the life and memories of Seyyed Ali Andarzgu, as narrated by Ali Akbar Abu Torabi, has been published in a book entitled"That Heavenly Chap" by Payam Azadegan Cultural and Artistic Institute.

Untold epics

"Untold Epics" is a brief account narrated by martyr Seyyed Ali Akbar Abu Torabi Fard compiled by Abdul Majid Rahmanian, and published by Payam Azadegan Publishing House.

Pasyad ,the Son of the Earth

The book "Pasyad the Son of the Earth" deals with the life and struggles of the late Seyyed Ali Akbar Abu Torabi Fard in 2 parts, each in three chapters. The first part includes topics before the revolution and family background, birth, childhood and adolescence, classical and seminary education, presence and activity in political arenas in Qom, Najaf and Tehran and cooperation with Seyyed Ali Andarzgu. The second part deals with issues post- Islamic revolution issues, the most important parts include the late Abu Tarabi's presence in the Irregular Wars headquarters, 10 years of captivity, the representation of the Supreme Leader and the period of representation in the Islamic Council. This book has been published by Syrian Mehr publication.

The Biography of Abu Torabi Fard

This book in 2 volumes contains  the captivity memories of Haj  Abu Torabi, and it was published by the order and participation of the Martyr Foundation of Qazvin Province. It deals with the biography and behavior of the Lord of Captives during the captivity and teaches great lessons of self-sacrifice and unselfishness  to the readers.

He was Solomon

‘ He was Solomon’ is the title of a book containing  memories involving the Lord of Captives, which was compiled by former captive teacher "Mohammed Shaghaghi" . The book actually holds some nice and at the same time, educational points and remarks made by Abu Torabi Fard as his inmates recall his memories. Twenty-three memories are narrated in this collection, among which one can mention the wise man, military training, proud officer, blade and dates,donkey`s dung, old men and Ali Pharaoh, etc. This book has been published by Payam Azadegan Publishing House [1].
