Calendar of captivity(January-February)
-22nd of January, 1988; the liberation of 131 wounded Iranian captives from the Iraqi Ba'ath regime camps.
-23rd of January, 1983; mutiny of the captives at Bloc 2 of Anbar camp(Alanbar/camp 8) resulted from their protest at the presence of Iraqi reporters and journalists who were trying to produce propagandizing documentaries involving captives. Their response provoked the Iraqi guards to beat them up.
-23rd of January,1988; the liberation of 124 wounded Iranian captives from the Iraqi Ba'ath regime camps.
-30th of January, 1983; 190 Iranian captives were released from the Iraqi Ba'athist regime camps, among whom there were approximately eight individuals suffering from spinal cord injuries and four Iranian women named as follows: Masoumeh Abad, Halime Azmudeh, Shamsi Bahrami, and Fatemeh Nahidi.
-3rd of February, 1983; a hunger strike by adolescent prisoners, prompted by many severe restrictions and media abuse.
-6th of February, 1985; the captives at Romadi 3, camp 9 went on a hunger strike in protest against poor food quality, the broadcasting of rhythmic songs, and the lack of healthcare in the sanatorium.
-10th of February, 1981; the captives at Romadi 1, camp 6, prayed collectively on a Friday for the first time.
-11th of February, 1980; the first praying of unity and solidarity was held in the Romadi 1, camp 6.
-11th of February, 1989; the failed escape attempt made by Hashem Entezari, Ahmad Chaldawi, and Massoud Mahutchi from Baghube, camp 18.
-17th of February, 1983; return of Haj Abu Torabi to Musel camp 4 for a duration of ten days.
